I guess, This is Au Revoir

In every journey, we all have a common goal or destination to achieve and set in. And in every journey, we all undergo beautiful and rough challenges. A challenge is a good lesson. A lesson is a good experience. An experience is the best teacher in life.

This week in our English 2 class, we all had a major preparation for our research paper. Things are really getting busy these days. I can almost grasp the summer breeze. Last week, I was way too lazy in making my outline sentence. But now, there's something that motivates me to write. I guess everyone are getting busy as well because March is now approaching and that means, Final exams and defense are approaching too.

And, does that mean our blogging activity has to end too? Our blogging activity has to stop in the end of the month of February as what Ma'am said. This is the end of February, I guess this is it. [But our teacher said that we can continue blogging if we want to]. Blogging really makes me feel expressive. I've learned a lot of lessons from the class and through this blogging activity. I guess my voyage is not yet the end. I have to keep on going. And, I want to continue blogging in my own different account. *Thanks Ma'am for giving us this activity*.

Total Pressure!

In our English 2 class last week, we did some discussions about note-taking, quotes, summary, and paraphrase. These are processes in term paper writing to develop the topic; and, it is for us to know the correct processes to avoid plagiarism. We had seatwork (by partner) in the class, then, we had an assignment that was passed last Thursday, and lastly, we had an updated announcements for the deadlines of our term paper. Phew!* Time really do run fast. Not to mention, we are running out of time, too. We only have few days or weeks to finish our draft or our term paper. I'm really pressured because I just got home from our field trip in Nat. Sci 1. I don't know where or when to start because I feel so tired of all the busy days I have.

Activities in Store

What a week! A week loaded with activities. An activities that are team-building spirit and team-sharing knowledge. It's full of learning and enjoyment because we have to group ourselves and that means, we have to encounter people and consequently, we have to make friends with them. Working as a team is fun, it makes the work go easy. And what's more amazing is that everyone in the team can share their thoughts about the respective topic. It's amazing how people work themselves up and interact with other people. But, my group mates and I don't share the same course that's why I had a hard time when I decided to go to school early to meet up with them for our activities because no one will show up (they have classes). For that reason, I learned a very great important lesson, I should not make myself easy; I should act for it no matter what. Therefore, I should be ready or it's better late than never.

All School, No Fun?

Whew! It's been another exhausted week and midterm exam is now converging. Everyone seems pretty tied up with their hectic schedule, including me, I'm so fully loaded these past few weeks. But everything is okay, I still manage to smile after all. The coalesce feeling of tiredness and happiness makes me proud. It's a great feeling that I still balance my learning and fun, or else, I'll go crazy.

In our English 2 last Tuesday, we had a fun activity. We counted one to four and then, group ourselves to our respective numbers. I belong to group 2 and I belong to an active and a participative group mates. All of us had fun by learning to construct and arrange sources in American Psychological Association style. It's amazing our teacher do this kind of activity because it merged fun and learning at the same time.

Last Thursday, we discussed about formulating a thesis statement and what kind of thesis statement will it be; is it analytical, expository, or argumentative. Making a thesis statement should be a strong one, we should make it stand or an assertion. We are asked individually for our thesis statement and ma'am agreed on mine.

Another week had just passed again, I'm glad I had fun this week. I'm gonna save up my energy for our coming midterm exams so that I can concentrate on my lessons. ü

Double-Time!

Things are getting pretty busy these days. The last time I checked my watch was just two days ago, not to mention, time really do run fast that's why we should catch-up for it so that we will never get left behind.

"Double-time! Double-time!", as what my head jabbering in my mind. There's no word that can tell how I really feel these days. There's no room to play and kid around, not anymore. There's so much things to do that it needs to be done right away. I have lots of school requirements that were filed-up in my desk and what worst is, there are all in different subjects, on the other hand, I still have an upcoming Midterm Exam in Economics. But, I'm not a machine to do all these things in one day that's why I should double-time my work.

Speaking of which, in our English 2 last week, we discussed about the sources for our research paper on evaluating them and using them in American Psychological Association Style. It gives us some point about looking and choosing the right sources for our research paper. Looking for more sources means there's more for us to refer in our topic so that we can fully understand it. It narrows our thought by looking and by reading for more relative topic in our perspective term paper.
